All authors go from the general to the particular in their presentation of the material. Therefore, it is not surprising that the commonality of the topic was expressed in the noticeable similarity of the initial chapters or sections of the books under consideration: "The economic contradictions of socialism as the source of its development," "Economic contradictions as the source of the development of the fundamental mode of production under communism," "The universal contradiction of the progressive movement of socialism and its direct expression in the economic basis." Their references in these parts also largely coincide (these are mainly references to the synopsis of the Hegelian "Science of Logic" in V. I. Lenin's Philosophical Notebooks, and to other works of the classical foundations of Marxism-Leninism). We will return to these general sections later, but for now we note that with fairly close methodological positions, the authors of the monographs reveal very different, sometimes diametrically opposed views on actual practical problems. And the point here is not that the development of subtle differences in the initial positions has led to opposite conclusions. There is practically no such development in the books. The fact is that the theoretical and empirical levels of consideration exist independently of each other. At the same time, the quality of the presentation of empirical material is determined mainly by the authors' orientation in applied issues, rather than their philosophical training and the presence of hidden links between the general theoretical consideration of economic contradictions and specific forms of their manifestation, which are not reflected in the monographs.
